1. I am using the storebought variety. It contains my favorite mix of grains, nuts fruit. So go ahead and use your favorite mix too.
2. You will notice that there is no sugar or salt added to this recipe. These ingredients are totally optional and can be added according to your taste and preference. I personally do not add sugar to the batter, because I prefer the cooked pancakes drizzled lightly with syrup, or honey. Sprinkling a bit of cinnamon sugar also adds sweetness to the cooked pancakes.
